F Endorsement & Forklift Truck Operator Course

This course covers US10851 Operate a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) and US18496 Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsement F (forklifts).

The successful completion of this course allows you to operate a forklift in any area whether or not that area is deemed to be a public road in New Zealand. i.e. any area whether there is authorised public access or not as required by NZ Transport Agency guidelines.

Course Outline
One Day course approximately 4–6 hours and includes a practical of approximately 15 mins

Practical: 15min – 20min per person and includes:

Practical drives:
All practical drives are completed in accordance with Competenz National Standards as required by NZ Transport Agency guidelines.

Upon successful completion of Unit Standard 10851 you will be issued with a Certificate of Competency and a wallet sized ID card from Know The Rule that is valid for 3 years from the date that you successfully completed Unit Standard 10851 and for the successful completion of Unit Standard 18496 you will be issued with a NZ Transport Agency certificate.

You will need to take this certificate to a NZ Transport Agency approved Driver Licensing Agency either VTNZ or AA where your details will be recorded and a temporary licence will be issued. Your new licence will be sent to you (usually around 4 weeks) with the inclusion of your F endorsement.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You are NOT licensed to operate a forklift truck on a New Zealand road until you have submitted your NZ Transport Agency Certificate to either VTNZ or AA and received your (Temporary) licence that includes your F Endorsement.
